This course forms the foundation for the remainder of the coursework in Dental Administrative Assisting. Students learn the landmarks of the face and oral cavity, tooth morphology, dentition, and occlusion. As well, students will learn about infectious dental diseases, preventive measures, disease transmission, and infection control.
Knowledge will be gained in the use of Dental Practice Management Software.

- Enrolment in an Academy of Learning Healthcare Services program.
- Unit 1 - Office and Computer skills.
