This course presents the basics of the Veterinarian Assistant by introducing the student to veterinary medical terminology, physiology and anatomy.
Special emphasis is placed on species terminology, which is the terminology of the animal industry. Species terminology is based on ordinary language and it is used daily by farmers, breeders, trainers, fanciers, pet owners, and any others whose lives intersect with those of animals.

- Enrolment in an Academy of Learning Healthcare Services program.
- Completion of CMAP® Modules C1 - C7
