Flexible Training Process
Our unique method of learning means that your employees can be trained or their skills upgraded during and after business hours or on weekends. With locations across the country, there is likely a college close to you.
We take pride in our hands-on approach to learning. Students work with original software, instructional multimedia and manuals that are custom-designed by professionals. This exercise-based system builds step-by-step as each lesson is mastered. The media portion explains the concepts and then guides the student through various applications. Additional applications are found in the course workbook, for use in later practice.
At Academy of Learning, we've found that students learn best by doing. We show them what to do and how to do it, and then encourage them to practice until they've mastered each lesson. The flexibility of the system allows each student to review or repeat a module or to seek help from a facilitator, and ensures that competence is achieved in each subject area, before moving on to the next module.
Training - which covers both skills upgrading and retraining - is a current government mandate both federally and provincially. Programs for sponsorship vary from province to province, and regions.
