Microsoft Windows 10 Configuring & Installing

This course is designed to prepare you for the Microsoft 70-698: Installing and Configuring Windows 10 certification exam.

In this course, you will gain the knowledge and skills to install, configure, and support Microsoft Windows 10 client desktops, devices and users. More specifically, you will learn how to prepare a computer for installation, go through the installation process, set up and configure core windows services and learn how to maintain the operating system and keep it secure and safe. You will learn how to solve technical problems in a networking environment.

You will also learn about network connectivity, remote access settings, data storage, configure authentication and permissions, and secure data on Windows 10 operating devices. This course will also equip you with the knowledge to troubleshoot other operating system and hardware issues, as well as how to optimize and monitor performance and manage mobile devices and broadband connectivity.  Additional topics covered in this course include how to manage client updates and security using Intune, as well as how to support Group Policy in a Windows 10 environment.

COURSE PREREQUISITE(S)

Experience in the IT field, including implementing and administering any Windows client operating system in a networked environment.

METHOD OF DELIVERY

Online learning supported by a qualified College Facilitators or Online Instructors.

COURSE NOTES

A Student Textbook is provided for on-going reference. There is a final exam upon completion of the course. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their final grade will receive a certificate.
