Microsoft Windows 8.1 Configuring

The Microsoft Windows 8.1 Configuring course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install, deploy, and upgrade to Windows 8.1, including ensuring hardware and software compatibility. Student will learn how to configure pre-installation and post-installation system settings, Windows security features, and mobile computing, as well as maintain systems, including monitoring for and resolving performance and reliability issues.
This course covers the objectives for Microsoft exam 70-680: Windows 7 Configuring. Passing this exam completes the requirements for the MCTS: Windows 8.1 Configuration certification, and counts as credit towards the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator certification.

COURSE PREREQUISITE(S)

Experience in the IT field, including implementing and administering any Windows client operating system in a networked environment.

METHOD OF DELIVERY

Online training supported by Academy of Learning Career College facilitators or Online instructors.

COURSE NOTES

A Student Textbook is provided for on-going reference. There is a final exam upon completion of the course. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their exam will receive a certificate.
