Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Administering

The Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Administering course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to administer, secure and troubleshoot the Windows Server 2012 operating system in an enterprise environment. Students learn about the necessary administrative responsibilities, such as monitoring, implementing server images, user and group management, remote access, network policies, auditing, data security, and updating management. This course is of interest to those individuals interested in pursuing a career in IT, specifically related to Windows Server technology. Also of interest to those wishing to obtain the MCSA: Windows Server 2012 Certification. This course prepares students to write the following Microsoft exam: 70-411: Administering Windows Server 2012.


Students should possess the knowledge and experience with implementing and administering a network operating system or successfully completed the Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Installing and Configuring course or passed the Microsoft 70-410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server certification exam.

A Student Textbook is provided for on-going reference. There is a final exam upon completion of the course. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their exam will receive a certificate.
