Business Office Skills Diploma
The objective of the Business Office Skills program is to provide the student with opportunities to acquire and apply the knowledge of business concepts and office skills to meet the demands of today’s business environment. Students will become proficient at an intermediate level in the Microsoft Office suite. In addition, they will be trained in related Microsoft business software. Students will also learn general business skills as part of their general studies. Students are required to take some elective courses from prescribed study areas.
Career opportunities are almost unlimited. Efficient and responsible Business Office Skills personnel are an integral and invaluable part of today’s office environment. Graduates of this program are prepared for a variety of entry-level administrative and management trainee positions in a broad range of employment settings, specializing in those areas of interest, experience, and greatest ability. Careers in accounting and finance, marketing, production and operations, human resources, and general administration are available to those students who possess the proper combination of business skills, experience, personal ability, and aptitude.
